Forms Class: The forms class is run according to the traditional method of combining students of all levels of experience in the class - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Forms class consists of warm up movements (excerpts of the traditional forms), followed by forms, set-form sparring, and controlled free sparring. Beginners are taught basic forms - Tiger, Dragon, Crane. Intermediate and advanced forms include Snake-Tiger, Eagle, Monkey, Phoenix, and 7-Animal Form.

Weapons Class: After a student becomes proficient in the basic forms, he or she is invited to learn weapons forms. The weapons taught in this System are all Chinese long and short weapons, including: Staff, Broadsword, 3-Section Staff, Double Knives, Double Swords, Spear, and Qwandao.

Controlled Free-form Sparring Class: For students enrolled in the full or trial program, this is an opportunity for them to practice utilizing techniques from the animal forms and from set form-sparring, in an open format. Where set form-sparring trains students in certain pre-set patterns and combinations, controlled free-form sparring encourages students to explore the application of those techniques in an open sparring situation. This is an optional class.
